    About Kisspeptin-10

Kisspeptin is a neuropeptide that plays a central role in regulating the reproductive hormone axis. It acts in the hypothalamus to stimulate GnRH (gonadotropin-releasing hormone) release, which then triggers LH and FSH production from the pituitary. This cascade ultimately controls sex hormone production. Kisspeptin is being studied for fertility treatment, hormone optimization, and as a potential alternative to hCG for stimulating natural testosterone production without suppressing the HPG axis.

    Mechanism of Action

Kisspeptin binds to its receptor (KISS1R, also called GPR54) on GnRH neurons in the hypothalamus, triggering GnRH release. This initiates the hormonal cascade: GnRH stimulates LH and FSH from the pituitary, which then act on the gonads to produce sex hormones. Unlike synthetic hormones, Kisspeptin works through the body's natural regulatory systems, potentially allowing for more physiological hormone optimization.

How Kisspeptin-10 Works in Your Body:

    • Target Receptors: Kisspeptin-10 binds to specific receptors that trigger downstream signaling cascades related to its primary benefits.
    • Physiological Response: The body responds by modulating natural processes—whether hormone release, tissue repair, or cellular signaling—without replacing endogenous function.
    • Timeline: Effects typically begin within a few days, with optimal results seen over the recommended protocol duration.

    Dosing Protocol

    Frequency

1-2 times daily or pulsatile dosing

    Timing

    Morning and/or evening

    Duration

Cycles vary based on goal; fertility protocols differ from general use

    Important Notes

Dosing is highly experimental and varies widely (1-10mcg/kg). Subcutaneous or IV administration. Work with endocrinologist for fertility applications. May cause initial hormone fluctuations.
