    Not medical advice

Nothing on this site constitutes medical advice. Consult a qualified physician before making any health decisions.

Performance Protocol publishes educational content about training, sleep, nutrition, supplements, peptides, hormone therapy (including TRT), GLP-1 medications, lab testing and behavioural protocols. This content is for general information only. It is not a substitute for diagnosis, treatment or advice from a licensed healthcare professional who knows your medical history.

Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read here. If you think you may have a medical emergency, call your doctor or emergency services immediately. In the United States, call or text 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.

    No doctor-patient relationship

Reading this site, using its calculators or tools, or contacting us does not create a doctor-patient or any other professional relationship. The author is not your physician, and we do not review individual cases, interpret your lab results, or recommend specific treatments or doses for you.

    Supplements, peptides and medications

Dietary supplements are not reviewed by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for safety or effectiveness before sale, and product quality varies. Many peptides discussed on this site are research compounds that are not approved for human use. Prescription medications, including testosterone and GLP-1 drugs, must only be used under the supervision of a licensed prescriber.

Any doses, protocols or timings mentioned describe what has been studied or reported. They are not instructions. Interactions, contraindications and side effects depend on your health, age, sex, medications and conditions.

    TRT and hormone therapy

Testosterone replacement therapy requires a confirmed diagnosis, appropriate baseline testing and ongoing monitoring by a clinician. It can affect fertility, red blood cell counts, cardiovascular risk factors and other health markers. Our TRT content explains options and trade-offs; it does not tell you whether therapy is right for you.

    Lab testing and providers

Our lab-testing and provider comparisons summarise publicly available information at the time of review. Prices, services and availability change. Reference ranges vary between labs, and an out-of-range result does not by itself mean you have a condition. Discuss results with a qualified clinician.

    Evidence and accuracy

We grade evidence using a Tier 1-4 system described on our methodology page and cite research where we can. Science changes, studies can be wrong, and we can make mistakes. We make no warranty that content is complete, current or accurate. If you spot an error, please contact us.

    Affiliate links and advertising

Some pages contain affiliate links, including Amazon Associate links, and the site displays advertising through Google AdSense. We may earn a commission or ad revenue, at no extra cost to you. This never changes our evidence grading. Mentioning a product, provider or book is not a medical endorsement.

    Use at your own risk

You are responsible for your own health decisions. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Performance Protocol and its author are not liable for any loss, injury or damage resulting from use of, or reliance on, information on this site. See also our terms of use and privacy policy.
